November 4th - 6th: LDAPcon 2019 in Sofia
LDAPcon 2019, the seventh conference on LDAP, Directory Services and Identity Management, will take place November 4th through 6th in Sofia, Bulgaria. It offers developers and users of LDAP the opportunity to network and get in touch with others. The goal is to share your own experience with others, and to develop new ideas together.
While November 4th is reserved for workshops, the conference itself will take place on November 5th and 6th. Peter Gietz will also be attending this year’s LDAPcon.
November 7th: Open Source Day
The OSD is a yearly focus event hosted by the Open Source Business Alliance. It offers the opportunity for presentations and dicussions with and by all who are interested from the area of politics and business. The event shows that “Openness” is the only option for a sustainable and trustworthy digitization. Peter Gietz will be one of the attendees of the Open Source Day hosted by the OSBA.

February 17th - 20th: TIIME 2020
TIIME is a yearly event in an agile format. It’s up to the participants to pick the topics and to contribute to the program through discussions and keynotes to allow for new findings and ideas. The main topics of interest include Internet trust, Identity Management in federations and companies, as well as user-centric Identity Managment.
The first two days of the event are reserved for workshops with presentations and discussions on different open source projects, federations, self-sovereign identity and legal aspects.
On day three and day four, the Unconference itself is taking place, allowing for dicussions on topics selected by the participants.
