What is Janssen?
Janssen is an open source software for access management, which is primarily developed by the US-based company Gluu. This is an application for authentication and authorisation with OIDC and OAuth2, which serves as the basis for Gluu Flex. Janssen is therefore a further development of the previous oxAuth component in Gluu. Janssen supports a variety of protocols and standards such as SCIM, FIDO2 and LDAP, can integrate user management and is flexibly configurable via a command line interface and a REST API. The copyright has been transferred to the Linux Foundation, which ensures that Janssen will always remain open source.
