Peter Gietz

Peter Gietz, Master of Arts (Magister Artium) in Cultural Studies and Indology, has been active in the fields of information technology since 1985. The internationally recognized expert for directory services is especially interested and skilled in Digital Humanities, Identity Management, X.500, LDAP, PKI (X.509 and PGP), meta data and ontologies.

Member of the University of Heidelberg: Establishment of the IT department of the cluster of excellence “Asia and Europe”, and conception and implementation of the virtual research environment “Heidelberg Research Architecture”
