Peter Gietz is co-founder, co-owner and was the CEO of DAASI International until 2026. He has been active in the field of information technology since 1985 an is internationally recognised as an expert for directory services.

Marla Diez is a trained retail clerk and has been supporting DAASI International since March 2025 as an assistant in the areas of administration, HR, finance and accounting.
Dr. Steffi Dobretzberger holds a degree in biomathematics and a doctorate in computer science. After many years as a software developer in finance, she has been working as a full-stack developer at DAASI International since 2024.
Jessica Duffka is a certified office clerk. She joins the DAASI International team in October 2023 as assistant to the management and member of the marketing team.
Marc Füller received his degree in business informatics from the DHBW Ravensburg, ever since he has worked as a system administrator, consultant and software developer in various fields of IT since 2011. He joined DAASI International as a consultant in May 2021.
Jonathan Gietz started his career at DAASI International back in 2013 as a working student. He completed his Master’s degree in Computer Science at the University of Tübingen in 2024 and has been supporting the team as a Solutions Engineer ever since.
As co-founder and co-owner of DAASI International GmbH, Karin Gietz is responsible for the areas of administration, HR, finance and accounting. Further she is an authorised officer.
Pia Gietz has been part of DAASI International since 2016. She started as a Software Engineer in system administration and is now an Information Security Officer and Solutions Engineer.
Markus Götz successfully completed his Master’s degree in Business Administration in Bamberg in 2017. Afterwards he worked as a Scrum Master and Product Owner in different software companies in Munich and Würzburg. He has been supporting DAASI International as an agile coach since 2024.
Kevin Herbst began his IT career in 2017 working in online marketing, where he also learnt programming. From 2023, he eventually moved into software development. Since August 2024, he has strengthened the DAASI International team as a DevOps Engineer.
Dr Martin Hitschel studied computational linguistics and computer science. He joined DAASI International at the beginning of 2006, initially working on research projects. Martin Hitschel is a recognised expert in Shibboleth and is responsible for consulting, training and support activities in this area.
David Hübner studied Computer Science for Media in Stuttgart and Tübingen. He wrote his master thesis about Shibboleth at DAASI International. Since 2017 he has mainly been responsible at DAASI International for the EU-research projects AARC as well as SSO projects with Shibboleth, Gluu and didmos. In 2026, he took over the management of DAASI International jointly with Markus Widmer.
Pascal has been working in many technical IT areas since 2012 after completing his training as an IT specialist (system integration) and has been part of DAASI International in various roles since 2023. Pascal has been team leader of the hosting and support team since April 2025 and is also the main person responsible for DevOps and a consultant for projects relating to Shibboleth, Keycloak, Microsoft and MFA.
Daniel Konzalla studied Media Informatics at the University of Tübingen and successfully completed his Master’s degree in 2021. He subsequently worked in IAM as a data scientist and machine learning engineer. Since 2024 Daniel works as a Solutions Engineer at DAASI International.
Markus Lude studied Computer Science at the University of Tübingen. After many years as a systems engineer at a system house, he has been working as a system administrator for DAASI International since September 2019.
Nasim Niyar obtained her master’s degree in 2022. After getting trained and oriented as a developer, she began an internship at DAASI International in November 2023. Since March 2024, she supports the team as a junior backend developer.
Werner Schledorn has joined DAASI International as a system engineer in June 2022. Werner contributes over twenty years of professional experience, which he was able to gather at various stations and over many years of self-employment. His expertise encompasses both hardware and software; he is especially well versed in all subjects relating to operating systems and virtualisation environments.
Benedikt Schnabel studied Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Tübingen. He started working for DAASI International as Frontend Developer in January 2016. He is now Lead Developer of our IAM software didmos.
Frederik Timm joined DAASI International in 2025 through his bachelor’s thesis. After completing his studies in medical technical informatics, he remained with the company and has been supporting the team as a solution engineer ever since.
Aleyna Nasher Taher studied business informatics at the DHBW Stuttgart and has been working as a DevOps specialist and MFA consultant since 2019. He has been supporting DAASI International as a consultant since May 2025.
Jennifer Vosseler studied German Literature and Media Science at the University of Tübingen and is a member of the team of DAASI International since April 2017. At home in our marketing department, she is responsible for the planning, implementation and communication of our marketing strategy.
Markus Widmer studied Computer Science at the University of Tübingen and completed his diploma thesis on Role-Based Access Control at DAASI International. Since 2005, he has written large proportions of didmos and other products of DAASI International. He is an expert in OpenLDAP, RBAC and SPML, and has the technical responsibility in many IAM projects. In 2026, he took over the management of DAASI International jointly with David Hübner.
As a graduate of Computer Science, Tamim Ziai can look on decades of IT experience, with particular expertise in software design, Java frameworks and quality assurance. He joined DAASI International as a Senior Consultant in 2011.
