What Is ConedaKOR?
ConedaKOR is a web-based open source database system with which information about any object, or entity, can be organised.
Especially with constantly growing data volumes, it is important not to lose track. The innovative data management system, ConedaKOR, organises and references data, using state-of-the-art graph database technology. Graph database technology does not only allow to securely store data, but also allows users to determine object relations and their significance towards each other. The system uses a network structure to display this information. Also, all relevant metadata can be stored here. This is made possible by semantic annotations via ontologies. Further, you can assign multiple media types to every single object you enter. ConedaKOR can play back images and video files using an internal mediaplayer. For other files, common browser plugins can be used.
Easy Yet Efficient to Use
ConedaKOR is highly customisable and can be tailored to individual requirements and area of application. This applies to entity name terminology, as well as all object types and data links.
The user interface is simple yet efficient, from data acquisition and maintenance, over ontology management, to research, which is possible on basis of text or visual material. It is further possible to assign a certain status to every user which will unlock functions according to user role as well as grant access to the appropriate data.
Differentiated permission management allows optimal resource utilisation and ensures the security especially of sensitive data – even for very heterogeneous user groups.
