In our light-flooded offices, you can feel the open atmosphere that characterises us. As a rule, everyone has their own personal workspace. However, if you often work from home, you can simply choose an available desk on your office days.

We at DAASI International are always interested in long-term employment. To ensure the happiness and satisfaction of our employees, the following benefits are an integral part of our corporate culture:

Once our employees complete a probationary period, they are guaranteed a permanent position.

All employees – full-time or student workers – receive a fair or even above-average salary, which will be annually adjusted to at least match the inflation rate.

We offer our employees flexible working hours. Plus hours should only be built up on rare occasions and will be compensated as soon as possible.

There are different working time models available at DAASI International. The lighter workload in a part-time or tandem arrangement makes it easier to reconcile work and family life.

At DAASI International employees have the possibility to work from home – wherever “home” may be.

It is very important to us that our employees are always familiar with state-of-the-art technology. This is ensured by internal and external trainings.

DAASI International offers a voluntary occupational pension scheme in the form of a salary conversion / direct insurance.

At the end of the year, all our employees can look forward to receiving a bonus as a 13th monthly salary.

All full-time employees are entiteled to 30 days of paid leave per year. (28 days vacation plus 24 December and New Year’s Eve)

At DAASI International you can look forward to being offered free beverages, fresh organic fruit and candy, as well as a wide selection of teas at your workplace. The common area is perfect to share lunch together with the rest of the team. Thanks to the vast amount of restaurants nearby, something for every taste should be readily available.

Since our offices are located on the fourth and fifth floor, our employees enjoy a very nice view on the tranquil university town of Tübingen. Moreover, we have  table football on our roof deck which can be used at will.

Every year we host several events. In spring, we usually have a company retreat. Here, employees will learn new things during unconferences, and/or with trainers. In the summer we enjoy some leisure time together during a BBQ, a gondola ride, or a hike – the team gets to pick the activity. Finally, not a year goes by without a DAASI International Christmas party, to which also the families of our team members are invited.

Once every six weeks, the team sits down at a large table in the DAASI International office and enjoys breakfast together. It is just a great way to start your day, with fruits, cheese, pastries, and vegan treats (all organic). This breakfast takes place during regular working hours and is of course free for all employees.

We at DAASI International love to give birthday gifts. Furthermore, all employees working on their birthday are welcome to take off half a day without using their regular vacation days.

In order for employees to work from home, if they wish to do so, they need a stable internet connection. If you wish so, we are happy to help pay for it.

Every employee can use up to 50 GB of the company’s own cloud for whatevery they may need.

Our offices are located right next to the central railsway station of Tübingen. Thus, the office can easily be reached with public transportation, by bicycle, or car. Morover, there are charging stations for e-cars in walking distance from the office building.

At DAASI International we cooperate with a large number of partners from all over the world. Thus, you have the chance to work in an international and diverse working einvironment. Depending on their tasks, our employees have the opportunity to directly work with our partners abroad and hold trainings for our products and services etc. on all-expense-covered a business trips.

After my initial internship with DAASI International in 2016, I was hired as student employee. At the beginning I was allowed to explore all sections and departments within the company before making a final decision on what I wanted to focus on long-term. This way, I gained a lot of experience and was able to figure out for myself where my strengths are. Eventually, I decided I wanted to work on automated software testing and the maintenance of network infrastructures, which I still do up to this date.

I especially like about our team that everyone is always very respectful and considerate in their way of communicating. As I am still at school to pursue a Master’s degree, it is very important to me to keep a flexible schedule, which is definitely the case for my work for DAASI International. For DAASI International as an employer studying always takes priority which is great to know for me as a student employee.

The special thing about working at DAASI International is that we work together as a family-like team focussing on open source. I was warmly welcomed by the entire team from day one and quickly integrated – not least through events such as the DAASI breakfast. I perceive a great sense of community. The co-operation with the management is always open, honest and productive in all matters, which I really appreciate about DAASI International. Technically and professionally, I have an exciting and varied work spectrum, with SSO topics such as Shibboleth (IdP/SP), Keycloak and also MFA technologies. I can also utilise my potential in DevOps activities for our own software didmos2. Due to the flexibility of the comparatively small team, I particularly appreciate the opportunity to develop and train myself according to my ideas and wishes.
