Career in focus: DAASI International at the Tigers Career Day 2024

DAASI International was represented for the first time at the Tigers Career Day in Tübingen on 16 May.

The Tigers Career Day (TCD) 2024, organised by USP5 Talent Finder in cooperation with the Career Service of the University of Tübingen and the Tigers Tübingen basketball club, is a popular career orientation event for young professionals in the region and therefore a fixed date in the calendar of many students. Every year, the TCD brings together pupils, students, graduates and companies. It’s a great opportunity for young people to explore career prospects, make personal contact with companies and get to know the industries behind them.

As an expert in managing digital identities with open source software, DAASI International presented itself in the Paul Horn Arena as a value-led IT company with start-up spirit to the region’s young talents. The location, usually the “hunting ground” of the Tübingen Tigers, was transformed into a vibrant career mecca for a day and provided the perfect setting for lively, relaxed discussions. The team’s mood was correspondingly cheerful, a mixture of excited anticipation and curiosity about the GenZ representatives. Peter Gietz (CEO), Pia Schäfer (System Administrator), Jennifer Vosseler (Head of Marketing) and Daniel Konzalla (Solutions Engineer) took the opportunity to present the team, projects and career opportunities at DAASI International to the young, open-minded audience. There was a particular focus on the open, informal corporate culture that characterises the company.

It was very nice to see how many visitors were interested in our booth. We wanted to do more than just provide information about our products and services. We wanted to inspire, encourage people to want more and show what it means to be part of our team. I would be delighted if we succeeded in conveying our team spirit to the people. The special atmosphere and the great interest in DAASI International made the career day a success for me.

– Jennifer Vosseler, Head of Marketing

Many visitors were particularly interested in internships and working student jobs, but also in permanent positions after graduation. The number of qualified discussions and the positive response testified to the perception of DAASI International as an attractive employer, which we are very happy about. We were impressed by the preparation and motivation of many visitors. Some brought their CVs with them and were well informed about current trends in IT. This repeatedly led to exciting conversations and provided valuable insights into the prospects and expectations of the next generation of professionals. Overall, a positive premiere for DAASI International at this year’s TCD, which we intend to follow up with further participations.
