DAASI International is again looking back to an eventful year. The growth period that had begun in 2016 and reached its climax in 2016, has evolved into a phase of stabilization in the second half of 2017. Within the first half of the year, the team DAASI International has been enriched by further new employees: Boris Günthner and Fabian Bosch have given fresh impetus to the system landscapes of DAASI International and have started as new System Administrators to become acquainted with the field of support and hosting. The marketing team has won with Jennifer Vosseler a new specialist for Customer Acquisition and with Jessica Lepple an expert for Search Engine Advertising – the latter is a task that has become relevant especially since our completely new website launched in May 2017. David Hübner came into the team as an additional expert for Shibboleth and since then has been responsible for the DH project AARC. Also, DAASI International found reinforcement for the European research project DARIAH with Mareile Kost as new support employee. Finally, Felix Lorenz is the new Frontend Developer of DAASI International since the end of the year.
All new and of course “old” employees of DAASI International did their bit in 2017 to complete many international customer projects successfully, acquire new partners and achieve progress and follow-up projects in the Digital Humanities research. Additionally, further internal structuring processes took place, which have made the internal and external performances of DAASI International even more efficient, transparent and at the same time satisfactory for everyone.
DAASI International wants to thank all customers, partners and employees for the great cooperation in 2017, and is looking forward to a successful year 2018 full of collaboration, productivity and good health. Have a Happy New Year!
