Learn, discuss, think ahead: insights into the DAASI Retreat 2025
DAASI International’s annual employee retreat took place on the weekend of 28 and 29 March 2025. This internal event offers all employees the opportunity to receive further training, discuss strategic topics and jointly develop new ideas for the future of the company. This year, the focus was on internal security as well as innovative methods and team processes.
The first day began with intensive security awareness training, which informed the participants about current threats and best practices for prevention in everyday working life. In a digitalised world where cyberattacks of all kinds are commonplace, a high level of security awareness isssential – especially for a company like DAASI International, which specialises in digital identities and IT security solutions. Real threat scenarios were analysed and practical strategies for minimising risk were developed, whereby the theoretical part (ISO27001) was not neglected either. Employees outside the technical departments in particular were able to benefit from the clear insights into common attack methods and the practical recommendations.
On day two of the retreat, the team was able to engage in open dialogue. As part of an unconference, an open participatory event format, the team had the opportunity to contribute their own topics and questions. Current challenges, new ideas and optimisation opportunities were discussed in various sessions – from internal processes and product development to corporate culture. We are convinced that this open and dynamic form of knowledge exchange not only promotes the company’s innovative strength, but also strengthens team spirit. One session analysed the extent to which last year’s unconference had borne fruit, and we were pleased to note that many results were achieved from the impetus provided by the previous sessions. This was achieved above all by specifying responsible persons whose task it is to ensure that the measures agreed in the sessions are implemented.
This year’s retreat showed once again how important continuous training and open dialogue are for the success of DAASI International. They enable us to strengthen our expertise and team spirit and develop various solutions and new methods for our day-to-day work. Equipped with new knowledge and fresh ideas, the employees return to their day-to-day work – ready to put the knowledge gained into practice and thus continue to actively shape the future of the company.
